Peregrine 2022 - 2023
Welcome to Peregrine Class!
Class Teacher: Mr Garcia
Teaching Assistants: Mrs Henderson, Mrs Mochrie & Mrs Mason
Our super team is made up of 28 fantastic children from Years 4 and 5. We have a classroom full of excitement and creativity, and we love to learn!
Children in Peregrine are not afraid to make mistakes and are curious and eager learners. This year, all students will develop their growth mind-set, to become independent, confident and resilient young people.
Both year groups will learn in accordance with the National Curriculum key objectives for their age and, with the children at the core, our rich curriculum is based on our school values of Respect, Individuality, Creativity, Honesty, Empathy and Resilience.
The children will be learning in Forest School every other Monday afternoon with Mrs Mochrie. Please ensure your child comes to school suitably dressed, bringing wellies or boots and a waterproof coat.
We will be doing PE each week, on a Tuesday. Please ensure your child comes to school wearing their kit, which may include tracksuit bottoms and a waterproof jacket as PE will be outside for the foreseeable future.
At the top of the page, you can use the tabs to see our learning for each term, find home learning support, and access any other useful information relating to our class.
Keep your eye on our school Facebook and Twitter page for updates on what we have been up to in class!
This is my first year at Ashton Hayes and I am delighted to be spending it with the Peregrine team. I am looking forward to stretching my pupils and helping them to become the best that they can be!
