Have a look at today's Science Fun at home activities. https://pstt.org.uk/resources/curriculum-materials/Science-Fun-at-Home . There are lots of different ideas for practical experiment ideas. Pick one that you have the resources for and have a go! 

Also, check out the Sock Olympics page on the website. There are 8 activities to complete using a rolled up ball of socks. There is a score sheet and teachers and teaching assistants have filmed themselves demonstrating the events.
