Welcome to Ashton Hayes
Ashton Hayes Primary School is a five class rural school on the outskirts of the historical city of Chester, in the heart of the Cheshire countryside.
At Ashton Hayes Primary School we are proud of our pupils and staff, and the positive atmosphere they create. It is important to us that we provide a rich a varied curriculum within a supportive and inviting environment where pupils enjoy learning, feel safe and make a positive contribution. Success is celebrated in the knowledge that this will encourage greater achievement in the future.
Books are essential to our curriculum. The topic-based curriculum provides high quality learning opportunities for all within a safe, secure and stimulating environment. We believe that children should be happy as they learn, enjoying first-hand and real experiences to help them prepare for the modern world.
Ours is a caring school where the children are warmly received and encouraged throughout their time with us to ‘aspire to be amazing’, fulfil their potential and engage with all the opportunities the school has to offer. We firmly believe that for this to be best achieved we must establish a genuine partnership between home and school. We pride ourselves on open communication, so if you have any questions or comments regarding the website or any other matter, please do not hesitate to contact either your child’s class teacher or me.
We are proud of our school and the achievements of our students. I hope you find this website informative.
