We’ve had a great week full of lots of effort from everybody, so, it was great to finish off with Children in Need.

We started the morning joining in with Joe Wicks 24 hour challenge. The children were full of energy and supported Joe in his final 30 minutes of the challenge. They too were tired at the end and felt very proud of Joe’s achievements.

Our classroom turned very spotty! The children had created their own additions and subtractions (with answers on the reverse of the spots) that decorated our classroom. Spots were everywhere! Later on in the day the children wrote as many additions and subtractions on clipboards from the spots.  It was a great day full of maths!

 The children will have come home with their spellings. They are;  

Year 2 - write, written, wrong, wrap, wren, wrecked, wrapped, wriggle, wrestle, wrote

Year 3 – actual, answer, bicycle, circle, earth, enough, fruit, island, often, popular
