At Ashton Hayes Primary School, we are committed to providing, high quality education to all children who attend our school. We believe that all children have an entitlement to access a broad and balanced curriculum, and to be fully included in all aspects of school life.
We strive to provide an environment where all children flourish, feel safe and secure and achieve success. Providing effective support to all children and to children who have a special educational need or a disability is a very important part of our offer.
This Special Educational Needs and Disabilities page has been set up to help you as parents to:
- feel more confident in understand your child's needs
- know how you can help support your child
- understand what you can expect from us here at school
- know who else may be available to provide information and support for you and your family.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any queries/questions. Many thanks.

The Local Offer website provides information for children and young people with Special Educational Needs or Disabilities (SEND) and their parents or carers, in a single place. It includes information from a range of local agencies, including education, health and social care. Knowing what is out there gives you more choice and therefore more control over what support is right for your child. The Local Offer website has be relaunched as the Live Well website. https://www.livewell.cheshirewestandchester.gov.uk/
