Day 16 home learning

Date: 27th Apr 2020 @ 8:08am

Morning Owls.

I hope you had a good weekend in the sunshine. We have been so lucky with the weather over the last few weeks, but today it looks like it may well rain. This is not so good for your playing out, outdoor learning and sun-tans, but it is great for the garden. The school garden is looking good. I was in school on Friday and watered the raised beds, the greenhouse and the new wild flower beds. There is lots growing, but we could do with some rain to help us.

Your home learning activities for the week are on your homework section when you log in to school spider. Maths and English are on for the week again, following some comments from parents that they liked to see the week's work laid out in advance.

I will add other challenges throughout the week. Keep going with your scrap books or uploading your homework directly. I have read some lovely poems over the weekend and even been sent videos of you reading them out!

Another place to have a look for activities if you want more, is the BBC bitesize daily lessons. Many of these seem brilliant! https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/dailylessons There are things there today about prehistoric Britain, Neil Armstrong, alliteration, coins, 3 digit numbers, adverbs, and that's just today!

If you have any questions or if you want to share anything with me, please email owlhomelearning@ashtonhayes.cheshire.sch.uk .

Have a great day!
